Top 3 Body weight Exercises!

We all want the most effective use of our time and energy when in productive manner. So why would we want that time and energy used in a different way when it comes to working out?

Listed below are in my opinion the Top 3 Body weight Exercises!

These are the exercises that would give the most complete workout and would also be the easiest to do without a gym membership.

You could do two them right after reading this answer right where you are the following:

Number One: The Push-Up

Muscles targeted are your pectorals and triceps.

  • You can change the difficulty while performing them either on your knees if you want them to be easier or with widening or bringing in your hand positioning to hit more effectively your chest if it’s a wider stance or triceps if it’s a closer stance.

3 Sets of 10-25 Reps are ideal with one to two minute rest intervals between sets are ideal!

Number Two: The Pull-Up

Muscles targeted are your back and biceps.

  • You’d have to buy a pull up bar but those run relatively cheap ranging from $15–30 from most local stores.
  • Again many different grips to choose from to workout more effectively your biceps or back. If unable to do one you could use a chair to get too the top of the pull up position and try to lower your weight as slowly as possible with your legs spotting you. Eventually you’ll be able to do one on your own!

3 Sets of 5-10 Reps are ideal with one to two minute rest intervals between sets are ideal!

Number 3: The Body weight Squat

Muscles targeted are your quads, hamstrings, and glutes (butt muscles).

Performed to a depth of your legs being parallel to the ground, or deeper for added difficulty, will give benefits for overall leg development.

  • The more advanced version you could perform would be one legged squats or hold weights in each hand while performing them.

3 Sets of 12-20 Reps are ideal with one to two minute rest intervals between sets are ideal!

As you can see you can effectively get a good workout at home with just these 3 Body weight Exercises and achieve some Real Results!
